This is the part where we tell you about us. I am Lindsay and she is Jessica, and together we are the brains, eyes and fun-lovers behind Sweetsnaps. We won’t bore you with the details: yes, we studied photography and communication, got the degrees, the experience, and the fancy cameras. Ask us if you want; we’ll tell you. But really, this isn’t about us; it’s about you and your child. How do we go about capturing the light of your life during a party?
Neither one of us started out as a “kid person.” I never babysat. Jessica always thought she’d be strictly a wedding photographer. That all changed when we had children. You may know how that is. How everything changes. How I could write a novel on it and still not touch on the sheer bliss that is the child that you birth, feed, and nurture. How you marvel over their tootsies and teefies, then over the words that turn into sentences that turn into—can you believe it—their own thoughts and stories! And we started to see it not just in our little ones, but in other children, too.
We totally get it. We understand your infatuation with that child. And because we get it, because we see beauty in every child, we catch it during each session. We play with your kids and let them express themselves. You won't believe how they open up in front of us, because they sense that we treasure them. We see the light in them. You’ll see it in the portraits of your child.
